50 Olongapo frontliners quarantined after exposure to COVID-19 case


Almost 50 health care workers were quarantined after being exposed to a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patient at the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City.

According to Bam Alegre’s 24 Oras News Alert, the affected health care workers included 17 doctors and 32 nurses.

The workers would be swab tested and would be quarantined for 14 days.

The hospital’s operations were severely affected by the development.

The Philippines reported a total of 169,213 COVID-19 cases with 112,861 recoveries and 2,687 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
