Quarantine passes needed when going from one town to another, entering malls in Cavite
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla on Wednesday announced that quarantine passes are still needed in the province when traveling from one town to another.
The national government has placed Cavite under general community quarantine from August 19 until August 31.
"Maaari na muling maglakbay sa iba't ibang bayan ngunit kailangan pa rin ng quarantine pass (one per household, transferable)," Remulla said in a Facebook post.
Remulla also said residents need to present quarantine passes when entering malls within the province.
As the province is now under GCQ, Remulla said public transport vehicles are again available for commuters.
Curfew is in effect from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., except for those who have work, according to the governor.
He advised residents to check the policy on liquor ban in their respective towns.
Remulla reminded the public to wear face masks and to avoid unnecessary travel.
"Ang mga kasong positibo ay lagpas 3,436 na sa Cavite. Bumagal ng kaunti ang pagtaas ngunit mapanganib pa rin ang sitwasyon," Remulla said.
"Mag-ingat po tayong lahat at sumunod sa mga patakaran. Ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa ay nasa inyong mga kamay," he added. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KG, GMA News
