Power outages reported in Marikina City, parts of Batangas, other areas

Amid the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, power outages have been reported in some areas in Luzon by Super Radyo's DZBB.

There is a brown out reported in Marikina City at the Malanday-Sto. Niño area.

In Batangas, Joselito Castro of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), said there are at least four towns that have no power supply.

Several barangays in Las Pinas were also reported to be experiencing a power outage.

In Laguna, power has been restored in some areas said Aldwin Cejo of the Laguna PDRRMO.

Power outage has also been reported in Montalban City.

Around 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, a brown out was reported along the EDSA-Timog Area in Quezon City.

As of 4 a.m., residents in Real, Infanta and General Nakar in Quezon province reported a power outage as well. -- BAP, GMA News
