Laguna, Cebu locals troop to vax sites on first day of 3-day national vaccination drive

Filipinos trooped to several vaccination sites nationwide on the first day of a three-day national vaccination drive.

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Monday, in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, several residents lined up early in the morning to receive their first jab.

Vaccination sites in Cebu were also packed as several residents trooped to get inoculated.

Cebu is targeting to vaccinate over 32,000 residents from November 29 to December 1.

Barangay Budlaan in Cebu City, Talisay City, and Mandaue City ran out of their vaccine allocation due to the overwhelming response to the inoculation drive.

The vaccination drive in Lapu-Lapu City began late as the syringes and other medical supplies were delayed.

The country administered 547,628 jabs on the first day of the national vaccination drive. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/DVM, GMA News
