Unvaccinated individuals prohibited from Cebu City establishments starting Jan. 2022

Starting January 2022, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be allowed in indoor and outdoor establishments in Cebu City.

However, those aged 11 and below who are accompanied by their parent or guardian who is fully vaccinated will be allowed in establishments, according to a report on GMA News' Saksi on Friday.

Establishments will have to require customers to show their vaccination cards prior to entry.

Failure to do so will be a ground to close the establishment.

The Cebu City local government unit will issue an executive order regarding the matter on December 29. —KG, GMA News
