Videos, photos online show Odette's wrath in Visayas, Mindanao

The wrath of Typhoon Odette on Thursday and its impact on people's lives in the Visayas and Mindanao has been captured on several videos posted online.

In Barangay Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City, two members of the Philippine Coast Guard were seen rescuing an infant in neck-high flood waters.

They used a basin to safely carry the child through the flood. They also protected the baby from the rain with and umbrella.

In Toledo City, Cebu, Youscooper Dionabelle Nacilla caught on video the strong winds brought by Odette.

The city is one of the areas placed under Signal No. 4 on Thursday.

Huge waves repeatedly hit a barge that ran aground in Tubay, Agusan Del Norte on Thursday afternoon. Youscooper Jear Sanchez took the video.

The area was placed under Signal No.3.

Odette also brought massive flooding in Lanao del Sur, with waters almost reaching the roofs of some houses.
