Puppy rescued after being left inside hot car in Davao City

Authorities rescued a puppy after being left locked inside a hot car in Davao City.

According to Rgil Relator’s GMA Regional TV One Mindanao report on Friday, residents called authorities after they saw a puppy locked inside the vehicle.

Responders immediately rescued the dog and brought it to an open area to give it some air.

Authorities warned the owner of the puppy to be more responsible and not leave pets inside a vehicle without ventilation.

Police personnel also urged the public to report incidents of animal abuse so they can be addressed.

Animal welfare advocate Sonia Geli reminded owners it is never safe to leave pets inside the vehicle.
