Baguio eases travel restrictions in time for Panagbenga 2022

The local government of Baguio City has loosened the travel restrictions in the city in time for this year's Panagbenga Festival, an annual tourist event.

A report on Unang Balita on Tuesday said tourists will be allowed to enter the city as long as they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and registered at visita.baguio.gov.ph

The local government is hoping that the easing of the restrictions will revive the sectors in the city that were badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To ensure that the celebration of the Panagbenga Festival will not become superspreader events, health protocols will be strictly enforced.

Panagbenga Festival 2022 will have the theme "Let Hope Bloom." —KBK, GMA News
