P68 million in alleged shabu seized, suspect nabbed in Cebu City buy-bust

A suspect was arrested and P68 million in alleged shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Cebu City, according to the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7).

The buy-bust operation was conducted by operatives of PRO-7, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit in Central Visayas, at 5 p.m. at Guadalupe, Cebu City on April 13.

Police Brigadier General Roque Eduardo DP Vega, Regional Director of PRO-7, identified the suspect as 24-year=old Josh Vincent Camion a.k.a. Justin.

Seized from the suspect were about 10 kilos of suspected shabu and the marked money used in the buy-bust operation.

Vega said the suspect faced charges for violating R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Camion is under the custody of authorities for proper processing and disposition, Vega said. — DVM, GMA News
