At least 124 families or 456 residents have returned to their homes from the evacuation center after the phreatic eruption of Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the PCG said the residents left their homes Sunday following the volcano’s phreatic eruption lasting for 18 minutes.

The Coast Guard said its personnel also assisted the decampment of several residents in Barangay Puting Sapa and Barangay Dayhag in Juban, Sorsogon.
