Lian, Batangas police chief killed in vehicle collision

Lian Municipal Police Station chief Police Major Amiel Bernardo Sanhi Jr. was killed after his vehicle collided with a ten-wheeler truck in Barangay Tulo in Taal, Batangas on Wednesday, police said.

Based on a report from Police Regional Office 4A, Sanhi was driving his vehicle going to Batangas City when it collided with a ten-wheeler truck at around 12:50 a.m.

The truck driver was identified as Salvador Segfred.

Sanhi sustained multiple injuries on different parts of his body and was rushed to Batangas Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.

He was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, the report said.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA News
