Over P2 million worth of shabu seized in Cavite operation

Authorities seized more than P2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two individuals in a buy-bust operation in Cavite's Imus City, the Police Regional Office IV-A said on Sunday.

In a statement, PRO IV-A Director Police Brigadier General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said police operatives arrested a man and woman, both 20 years old, and confiscated at least 300 grams of illegal drugs with an estimated value of P2,040,000 during Saturday's Barangay Pasong Buaya operation.

The police are readying charges against the suspects for violating Section 5 in relation to Sections 26 and 11 of Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. — DVM, GMA News
