Briton nabbed for alleged Filipino underage porn website

A British national was arrested in Tangub City in Misamis Occidental for supposedly establishing a pornographic website which showed exposed Filipino minors.

Identified as John Crotty, the British national was reported to have entered the Philippines on February 6, based on a report of the UK National Crime Agency to the British Embassy.

A report on GMA’s “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday indicated that Crotty was previously involved with a Filipino girlfriend, but they have since parted ways.

Crotty—who has not released any statement on the matter—was apprehended by the Bureau of Immigration and is currently detained by the agency.

He will be picked up by British authorities, and extradited and face charges in the United Kingdom. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
