Man mauled by 3 customers in Pangasinan bar

A customer in a bar in Tayug town in Pangasinan sustained injuries after being beaten up by three other customers, according to Joan Ponsoy’s report on GMA Regional TV’s “One North Central Luzon."

The CCTV footage of the restaurant caught one of the three men apparently smashing a bottle on the victim's face before leaving him.

“Ayon sa may-ari [ng restobar] at biktima, parang nag-abutan doon then, nagkakakursunadahan,” Tayug Police Station officer-in-charge Police Major Anastacio Sibayan Jr. said.

Sibayan said the police had already identified the victim, who is now out of the hospital after receiving treatment for his injuries. They have also identified the three suspects and are currently conducting a manhunt operation for their arrest.

"Upon arrival sa place of incident, nakita ‘yung victim na sasakay na sana sa tricycle subalit nakarating ang [police personnels] doon, hindi pa sila nakakaalis, isinakay nila [sa patrol car] ‘yung victim, agad nilang dinala sa EPDH (Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital) ,” Tayug Police investigator Police Corporal Jun Mark Balbin said.

The restaurant was temporarily closed due to the incident, the report said.

Likewise, its management was instructed to add more security cameras and guards to prevent similar situations from happening again.
