The local government was seeing to the needs of the families and had distributed food packs.

Meanwhile, 425 families in San Ildefonso, Bulacan that evacuated due to a 7-foot-high flash flood were still at evacuation centers while others stayed temporarily with relatives. There were no casualties reported in the area.

In Gamu, Isabela, where Karding laid waste to several hectares of farmland, farmers hoped to salvage and sell at least a small portion of their crop to reduce their losses.

In San Miguel, Bulacan, Karding damaged rice fields, fences, and utility poles. Forty-six out of San Miguel's 49 barangays were flooded.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (NDRRMO), one resident who had been swept away by the flood during the typhoon was still missing. The retrieval operation was continuing.

Meanwhile, up to 100 stranded passengers spent the night outside the Manila North Port as trips had been canceled due to Karding.

The travelers said they should have been notified of the cancellations sooner to avoid the inconvenience.

Passengers continued to arrive at the port, queuing up outside, as there had allegedly been no announcement that passengers could wait inside. — Sherylin Untalan/DVM, GMA News
