P122 million worth of suspected shabu seized in Cebu City

Authorities seized around P122 million worth of suspected shabu in Cebu City on Monday.

According to a report by Decemay Padilla of Super Radyo Cebu on Super Radyo dzBB, agents of the Philippine National Police's Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit Region 7 confiscated at least 18 kilos of illegal drugs in Barangay Busay.

However, the suspect was able to flee on a habal-habal.

Initial investigation showed that the illegal drugs came from a drug syndicate operating in Central Visayas.

Policemen are conducting follow-up operations and investigation to determine who owns the vehicle used in transporting the illegal drugs. — Mel Matthew Doctor/BM, GMA News
