Man from Misa de Gallo killed, two hurt as 2 gunmen chase group in Cebu City

A churchgoer was killed while another was injured after they were hit by bullets in Parian, Cebu City.

According to a report on State of the Nation, the man who came from Misa de Gallo was hit by a bullet as two gunmen reportedly chased a group on the street.

The victim was brought to the hospital but later died of his injury.

A woman, who also came from church, was injured after she was also hit in the shooting.

A bullet also hit a policeman who was cleaning a car on the roadside.

Eight persons, including the two gunmen and three minors, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The reason for the shooting reportedly had something to do with a woman.

Those involved are facing complaints of murder, frustrated murder, and alarm and scandal. --Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
