DHSUD, Baguio gov't sign MOU for housing project

Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar and Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Thursday for the development of the government’s housing projects in the city.

According to a report on “24 Oras”, the DHSUD will construct ten high-rise buildings in a 16-hectare township development project in Tuba, Benguet under the MOU. Some 2,000 residents are expected to benefit from the program.

The project is part of the one million housing units the administration targets to construct yearly to fulfill the six million housing backlogs in the country before the end of the term of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
