Family of five, including 3 children, killed in Pozorrubio fire

A family of five died after a fire hit their residence in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, on Monday.

According to Claire Lacanilao's report on GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, the fire spread to three houses in Barangay Poblacion

The fire reached the second alarm and lasted for over two hours.

The family trapped in the fire included the couple and their children aged six, three, and one.

"Dinedetermine namin yung origin, at yung cause of fire niya kung sa electrical," said SPO4 Randy Fabro, Pozorubio Fire Station Marshal.

The estimated damage of the fire amounted to P9 million.

The BFP said it is still conducting an in-depth investigation to determine the cause of the fire. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA Integrated News
