Magnitude 4.1 quake hits Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake shook Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur on Thursday noon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, occurred at 12:04 p.m.

It was recorded at 08.08°N, 123.39°E - 010 km S 30° E of Dumingag in Zamboanga Del Sur.

The quake also had a depth of 15 kilometers.

Phivolcs logged the following instrumental intensities:

• Intensity II - Molave, Zamboanga del Sur
• Intensity I - Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte; Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte; and Zamboanga City
