Duterte's martial law warnings for Mindanao

President Rodrigo Duterte has repeatedly either raised the possibility or expressed that he is not keen on declaring martial law in Mindanao to control lawlessness in the region.

However, on Tuesday night, his warnings to declare martial law over the entire island of Mindanao were fulfilled following the clashes of government troops and the Maute group in Marawi City.
