No tsunami threat to PH following strong quake in Papua New Guinea, says PHIVOLCS

There is no destructive tsunami threat to the country following a strong earthquake hit Papua New Guinea early Tuesday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.

The agency reported that a magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck near north of Papua New Guinea with a depth of 44 kilometers.
