RAINFALL ALERT: Orange in portions of Zambales, Yellow in Bataan, Pampanga (Thursday, 5 a.m.)

PAGASA raised the orange rainfall warning over portions of Zambales and yellow warning in several areas of Bataan, Pampanga and Zambales 5 a.m. due to heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Orange rainfall warning (Flooding is still threatening):

• Zambales (Subic, Castillejos, Olongapo)

Yellow rainfall warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas):

• Zambales (San Antonio, San Marcelino, Cabangan, Botolan, San Felipe, San Narciso, Santa Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc)
• Bataan( Dinalupihan, Pilar, Balanga, Abucay, Samal, Orani, Hermosa, Orion, Limay)
• Pampanga (Floridablanca, Masantol, Macabebe, Sasmuan, Lubao).

Meanwhile, PAGASA said to expect light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Batangas(Nasugbu), Quezon(General Nakar) and Nueva Ecija(General Tinio, San Antonio, Gapan, San Isidro, Cabiao, Penaranda, San Leonardo, Jaen, Zaragoza, Gabaldon, Palayan, Laur, Santa Rosa, Licab, Aliaga, Cabanatuan, Cuyapo, Nampicuan, Guimba) within the next three hours.

Light to moderate rains will affect Bulacan, Bataan(Bagac, Mariveles, Morong), Zambales(Iba, Palauig), Pampanga(Porac, Apalit, Minalin, Santa Rita, Guagua, Bacolor, Angeles, San Fernando, San Simon, Santo Tomas, Mexico, San Luis, Candaba, Mabalacat, Arayat, Santa Ana, Magalang), Tarlac(Bamban, Capas, San Jose), Metro Manila(Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Quezon City, Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasay, Pateros, Marikina, Manila, Pasig), Rizal(Rodriguez, San Mateo, Antipolo) and Cavite(Ternate, Naic) which may persist within tjhree hours and may affect nearby areas.

PAGASA advised the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
