Habagat affecting Luzon, to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers
With the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) affecting Luzon on Monday, the northwestern portion of the country will have cloudy skies and a significant amount of rain, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Ilocos, Abra, Benguet, Zambales and Bataan will be cloudy with scattered light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Metro Manila and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms possibly occurring in the afternoon or evening.
Palawan and Visayas will have fair weather but with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
Mindanao on the other hand may have localized thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.

- Baguio: 17°C-20°C
- Laoag: 25°C-30°C
- Tuguegarao: 25°C-35°C
- Olongapo: 26°C-30°C
- Metro Manila: 26°C-31°C
- Tagaytay: 23°C-30°C
- Lipa: 25°C-32°C
- Legazpi: 25°C-32°C
- Puerto Princesa: 25°C-32°C
- Iloilo/Bacolod: 26°C-33°C
- Tacloban: 26°C-34°C
- Metro Cebu: 26°C-33°C
- Cagayan de Oro: 23°C-35°C
- Valencia: 19°C-31°C
- Metro Davao: 25°C-33°C
- Zamboanga: 24°C-34°C
Gale warning
A gale warning has been raised covering all seaboards of Luzon as its coastal waters will be rough to very rough.
The seaboards of the following areas are under the gale warning:
- Batanes
- Babuyan Group of Islands
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- la Union
- Pangasinan
- Zambales
- Bataan
- Metro Manila
- Cavite
- Batangas
- Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island
- Oriental Mindoro

- Romblon
- Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands
- Sorsogon
- Albay including Rapu-Rapu Islands
- Catanduanes
- Camarines Sur
- Camarines Norte
- Quezon including Polillo Island
- Aurora

Meanwhile, the seaboards of the eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao, as well as western Palawan, Sulu and inland sea will have moderate to rough seas. Wave height may reach 3.1 meters.
In the Moro Gulf, waters will be slight to moderate with waves reaching up to 2.1 meters.
