Ate Liza - A local DJ and a woman of the world

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Papa Dudut shared that his on-air partner Ate Liza inspired him to reward his hard work through travel. 
 
The piece of advice is not only thrown in the air by Ate Liza. It is backed with her wanderlust, and the many places she has been to.
 
For this hardworking DJ, the experience one gains and the perspective that travel provides is worth every centavo you spend.  You become exponentially richer after a trip because of the new people you meet, the new places you see, and the new cultures you get to immerse in.
 
Ate Liza leaves her comfort zone every once in a while and consequently expands her horizons. Among the places she has been to, here are a few of her favorites.
 
Cebu
Even with the many international destinations on her list of places she’s been to, Ate Liza is still a fan of one of the most popular cities in the country. “[Favorite ko ang] Cebu kasi syempre dun ako lumaki at nandun pa rin 'yung friends ko, at ang lapit-lapit ng beach,” she said.
 
Paris
A lot of people have "going to France" as part of their bucket lists, but young as she is, Ate Liza has already been to the popular European destination. “Sobrang sarap ng pagkain dun, at ang dami mong pwedeng makita,” she shared.
 
Morocco
If she’s a fan of popular destinations, she also has far-flung countries on her roster. Not a lot of Filipinos have been to Morocco, that’s why the locals were also surprised to see them there. “Para sa kanila, para kaming alien kasi bihira lang silang makakita ng Asian, so nagpa-picture sila sa ‘min. Para kaming celebrity, nakakatawa,” she reminisced.
 
United Kingdom
One of Ate Liza’s travel buddies is her sister who is based in the United Kingdom. Together, they go to different countries and continents, taking on bigger adventures by the day. Because of that, Ate Liza frequents the U.K. and discovers something new about it each time. “Gusto ko dun kasi nandun 'yung ate ko. Dun siya nakatira so kapag nagvi-visit ako dun, she makes sure na pumupunta kami sa iba’t-ibang places dun,” she shared.
 
Peru
Another crazy adventure that this cool DJ took on was the land of the world-famous Machu Picchu. Ate Liza adds it to her list of favorites because it was her first time in South America.
 
Korea
All Ate Liza had to say about the home of K-Pop and Koreanovelas was, “Ang sarap kumain. Kapag nandun ka, talagang kain, kain, kain.”
 
Because of her increasing desire to travel, she has made it part of her lifestyle and believes that everyone should reward themselves with these vacations. But although she loves traveling, she’s still one to appreciate her daily adventures.
