DWLS-FM starts Christmas 2020

GMA Network has announced that its flagship FM station, DWLS-FM (97.1 nhz) will start this year’s Christmas season this coming Tuesday, September 1.

Known as Barangay LS, the station will treat its listeners to a whole day of the best known and most loved Christmas songs.

According to GMA Vice President for Radio Operations Glenn Allona, “Everyone in the station is excited over this programming innovation that starts the longest Christmas season in the world. It will also be our way of helping everyone lighten the challenges brought about our current situation. It will be fun!”

According to the latest Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement Report (RAM), DWLS is the number one FM station in Mega Manila.
