Kapuso actor Ken Chan is the newest artist to sign with GMA Music as he inked a recording deal today, January 8.
The year 2019 is off to a great start for Ken as he fulfills his life-long dream and joins the Kapuso music label. Present at his contract signing were GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer, Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia, GMA Music Managing Director Rene Salta, and GMA Music A&R Manager Kedy Sanchez.
He said in an interview with Aubrey Carampel, “Sobrang happy po ako, finally. Talagang matagal ko nang pangarap at wish na mapasama talaga sa GMA Music. Finally kabilang na po ako sa GMA Music at naniniwala po sila sa akin sa tanong ko na bakit.”
For starters, Ken has already recorded a duet with fellow GMA Music artist and My Special Tatay co-star Rita Daniela. Their song titled “Almusal” debuted today via Barangay LS 97.1 and will be available for download and streaming beginning January 15.
