In a video posted on GMA Music’s Facebook page, the young Kapuso singer admitted to being overwhelmed upon its release.

He related, “I feel so blessed na nagkaroon ako ng single, and maraming maraming salamat GMA Music for giving me the opportunity and for trusting my talent. Maraming salamat po. Noong first time ko mapakinggan ‘yung single ko, like noong na-release na siya, naiyak ako kasi matagal ko nang pinapangarap na magkaroon ng single.”

Now that his dream is finally coming to fruition, Psalms couldn’t help but recognize his growth as a singer.

He said, “Si Psalms noond The Clash is very raw compared to who I am now. Kasi noong time na ‘yun wala ako masyadong alam, wala akong experience sa pagkanta. And ngayon, after The Clash, after workshops and trainings vocally, I felt like ang laki nang inimprove ko. Naramdam ko sa sarili ko na ang laki nang inimprove ko technically, ‘yung puso ko sa pagkanta, and mas minahal ko ‘yung pagkanta ngayon.”

He further described himself as a risk-taker as he still continues the pursuit of discovering his best potential.

Psalms added, “I’m willing to explore genres. Ngayon nga eh, ‘yung kanta ko ngayon is like rock ballad which is hindi ko inexpect na kaya kong gawin kasi I’m not a huge fan of rock ballads. Pero I really love the song.”
