The Kapuso OST Princess started her music career as a Kapuso when she won the TV reality talent show, Bet Ng Bayan in 2014. Years later, she competed in the Dangdut Academy Asia 5 where she placed second runner-up.

More people grew familiar with her voice as she earned the title, "Kapuso OST Princess." Hannah was chosen to perform theme songs like “Kanlungan” from Kambal, Karibal“Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka” from the program with the same title, “Awit Kay Inay” from Onanay, and “Kung Walang Ikaw” from Hiram Na Anak, to name a few.

Recently, aside from Hannah, other Kapuso artists, like Arra San Agustin, Jeniffer Maravilla, Thea Astley, and Jessica Villarubin, have also been given the same opportunity to perform soundtracks of Kapuso shows.

Hannah is happy for her fellow Kapuso singers, saying, “Of course, I’m so happy for my co-artists ‘no na they were given a chance to record din kasi alam ko ‘yung pakiramdam eh. ‘Yung saya, ‘yung excitement. Kasi ako, nangarap ako dati na makapasok lang ako ng studio, ng recording studio. Grabe na ‘yung tuwa na nararamdaman ko, na feeling ko noong una yata, noong first time ko makapasok doon, feeling ko hindi ako makakakanta sa sobrang overwhelmed ko na, ‘Wow, ganito pala ‘yun. Wow, ganyan pala ang ginagawa.’

“So grabe ‘yung excitement at ‘yung adrenaline ko that. So I am so happy for them na alam mo ‘yun, nabigyan sila ng opportunity na ganun. They had the chance to feel the same way kung ano ‘yung naramdaman ko that time.”

Further, she recognized the talents of her fellow Kapuso artists and expressed her desire to collaborate with them.

“I hope na mangyari din na magkaroon ako ng iba pang duets with other artists na gagamitin din as theme song.”

Equipped with more experience as a singer of theme songs, is Hannah ready to mentor her fellow Kapuso stars?

She spoke in modesty, saying she’s open to the idea.

“Hindi pa siguro. Lagay nating 50% pa lang ako, wala pa ako sa 100% maging mentor. Hindi pa naman ako ganun… I’m still learning pa nga, sabi ko.

“Of course naman (in the future), I really want to share my ideas, ‘yung ibang techniques sa ginagawa ko, ‘yung way  ng singing, I want to share it to other singers.”

Hannah released her first EP under GMA Music titled Hannah Precillas Sessions on May 25. It contains four tracks: “Munting Hiling,” “Hiram na Sandali,” “Awit ni Inay,” and a new version of her original song, “Sabi Ko Na Nga Ba."
