GMA Music sub-label AltG Records brought together their artists for a night of music on March 1 at Unknown13 Pub, Quezon City. Abby Clutario, Wickermoss, SkyGarden, Plume, and Sala performed during the much-awaited gig. The gig also marks the first gig of AltG Records' newly-signed artists Plume and Sala. GMA Music is welcoming new artists to its roster of talents. On January 25, solo artist Plume and OPM band Sala inked their contracts with GMA Music and AltG Records. Baguio-based Shaquille Iverson or Plume is a 20-year-old budding musician offering acoustic sounds with self-composed melancholic lyrics. His self-written track "Liwanag" offers hope in times of darkness to people struggling to find the light. Plume says he wrote "Liwanag" about a guy searching for the "light at the end of the tunnel." Another one of his compositions is "Beautiful," an ode to his love story with his girlfriend. Meanwhile, four-piece band Sala is composed of members Ronan on bass, Rigil on guitars, Neth on keyboards and guitar and Fourth on percussion and drums. One of Sala's upcoming releases is "Hi, Tita", a song sharing the experience of millennials who face the pressure of living up to their family's expectations. GMA Music and AltG Records once again brought together some of their artists for a night of jamming and connecting through music. After their first gig "Friday Night's the Night" gig back in March 31, GMA Music and AltG Records are back for more with fresh new faces as well as familiar ones--Gel Aquino, Anton Paras, Abby Clutario, Matt Lozano, Wickermoss, and Skygarden joined together for a gig dubbed as "The Midweek Music Vibes" on November 15. SkyGarden performs at the 'Howlers Manila 2.0 Cosplay & Music Festival'

Japanese trio SkyGarden was surprised by the energy of Filipinos who joined them throughout their performances at the recently concluded music event, Howlers Manila 2.0 Cosplay & Music Festival, at Circuit Makati. SkyGarden heated the Howlers Manila stage with their electrifying performances! The trio had so much fun that they considered it as one of the most memorable events that happened in their group. "Sobrang masaya po," Ryo shared. "Actually, Filipino sobrang energetic kaya ako sobrang may puso," Iwa added. "'Yung crowd they are hyped up. If they're hyped up, we're hyped up. Sobrang saya po talaga. It's one of the memorable things that happened for SkyGarden and we won't forget it talaga," Ryo said. The Clash 2023 champion John Rex and finalist Lianna Castillo sign contract with GMA Music

The Clash Season 5 grand winner John Rex and finalist Liana Castillo are now officially part of GMA Music's roster of talents. In the contract signing happened on September 11, the two were welcomed by GMA Music Artists and Repertoire Manager Kedy Sanchez, GMA Music Officer-in-charge and Marketing Services Manager Michelle Reyes, and GMA Music Artists and Repertoire Officer and In-house producer Caleb Hinanay. John Rex became the newest The Clash champion after defeating Arabelle dela Cruz where they both performed "Oras Ko 'To," an original piece composed by The Clash judge and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista. Aside from an exclusive management contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center, John Rex took home PhP1 million cash and a brand-new house and lot worth PhP3 million. Liana captured the hearts of listeners with her breathtaking performance of Randy Crawford's "One Day I'll Fly Away." She made it to the final four of The Clash 2023. GMA Music and AltG Records collaborated for their very first in-person gig held at the Pit88 Restobar in Marikina City on March 31, 2023. Artists from GMA Music and AltG Records including Abby Clutario, Mariane Osabel, Anton Paras and artists Janine Teñoso, Wickermoss, and special guest Hannah Precillas entertained the crowd. Before the release of her single, Jeniffer has sung for the official soundtrack of shows like 'The Lost Recipe' and 'Raising Mamay.' She also tried her hand at acting, playing the role of Jamaica in 'I Left My Heart In Sorsogon,' and Sinang in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra.'
