The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines announced of a 12-hour scheduled power interruption on February 18, 2024, Sunday, in Iloilo City.

 

Here are the affected places and corresponding time of the power outage:

6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (12 hours)

Whole of Molo Feeder 1, 4 & 5

Whole of Mobile Substation

Portion of Mandurriao F5, Molo F2 & Molo F3

Mandurriao District:

Portion of Barangays Bolilao, San Rafael

Molo District:

Whole of Barangays Poblacion, West Timawa, Kasing-Kasing, San Antonio, Boulevard, San Juan, Salvacion Habog-habog, West Habog-habog

Portion of Barangays Taal, East Timawa, Infante, San Pedro, North Avancena, Katilingban, Compania, North Avanceña, Calumpang, East Baluarte, South Baluarte

Arevalo District: Portion of Calaparan

City Proper District:

Portion of Barangays San Agustin, Liberation, Hipodromo, Villa Anita, Delgado-Jalandoni-Bagumbayan, Jalandoni-Wilson, Tanza Esperanza, Malipayon-Delgado, San Felix, Tanza Timawa I, Tanza Timawa II

 

Other areas which are set to experience a total of 5.5-hour brownout:

6 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (4 hours) and *4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (1.5 hours)

City Proper District:

Portion of Barangays Danao, Ed Ganzon, Roxas Village, Magsaysay, Kauswagan

 

These areas will experience a total of three (3) hours brownout:

6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and *4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Power restoration in the afternoon may come earlier than expected, as soon as maintenance activities of NGCP conclude, the advisory indicated.
