More than 40 barangays in Cagayan de Oro are experiencing water service interruption for 32 hours.
The Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) announced that the interruption is due to emergency pump repair works at a production well in Barangay Macasandig.
Interruption time starts at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, until 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Areas affected include Barangays Consolacion, Macabalan, Puntod, Nazareth, Macasandig, and Poblacion Barangays 1 to 40.
The COWD said these barangays will have low pressure to no water during peak hours, especially in elevated areas and multi-storey buildings.
