Several areas in Davao City will experience a 10-hour power interruption for two days on June 6 and 7, 2024.

In an advisory issued by the Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC), the power interruption will start from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The areas affected on Thursday, June 6, include the following:

  • Juna Avenue
  • Molave Street
  • Cesario Street
  • Manga Street
  • Camia Street
  • Ma Loreto Street
  • Talisay Street
  • Suarez Apt.
  • University Ave.
  • Jasmin Street
  • Juna Subdivision
  • Matina Crossing

The areas affected on Friday, June 7, are the following:

  • Entire area of Barangay Magwawa of Sto. Tomas
  • Sitio Panaga
  • Colossus
  • Galacia of Paquiabato District 

DLPC said it will facilitate line maintenance and pole relocation activities, which will cause power interruption in some parts of the city's south and north areas.

“Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being conducted. Please heed and follow warning sings, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment,” DLPC said.
