A steel footbridge in Barangay Candelaria in San Fernando, Bukidnon has collapsed due to flood brought about by persistent rains.
The raging floodwaters damaged the footbridge used by residents to cross the river and go to the neighboring communities in the area.
Because of the damage, the footbridge is impassable temporarily, as of this writing.
The local government has already conducted damage assessment and distributed relief goods to affected residents.
