A two-year-old girl was rescued after getting trapped inside a locked car in Laoag City.

Police broke the vehicle’s rear window with a rock to free the child.

She was confirmed to be in good health.

According to the child’s guardian, they left the toddler briefly inside the car with the air conditioning on.

However, when they returned to the car, they found that the vehicle got locked, prompting them to seek help from the police.

Authorities believe the child may have accidentally pressed the car’s lock buttons while playing.

The rescue operation lasted nearly an hour before authorities pulled the child out of the vehicle.
