Fifty newly hatched sea turtles made their way to the ocean after being released along the shores of Currimao, Ilocos Norte.
According to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), the hatchlings were active and quickly swam into the sea moments after their release.
The local government expressed joy over the event, saying it reflects how the community values marine life and helps protect sea turtles in the area.
Residents often spot turtles along the coast, and efforts like this help raise awareness about protecting their natural habitat.
