Authorities in Mangaldan, Pangasinan are investigating the theft of a tricycle that was taken before dawn on Sunday, October 12, in Barangay Macayug.

A CCTV video showed two men pushing a tricycle through a dark street at around 3 a.m. The vehicle was found later by its owner, Macky Bautista, when he was about to head to the market.

By morning on Monday, October 13, Bautista found the tricycle’s sidecar abandoned in Barangay Colisao, San Fabian, Pangasinan.

Police have yet to issue an official statement as the investigation continues.

Authorities are coordinating with other barangays to check nearby CCTV footage that could help identify the suspects behind the theft.
