Calle Crisologo, in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, transformed into a vibrant showcase of fur babies as pet enthusiasts took to the street for a pet lovers parade.

Participants showed off their furry companions clad in different costumes. From mini floats to elaborate dragon costumes inspired by Chinese dragon dance, the parade showcased the passion of pet owners who do not hesitate to go the extra mile.

Approximately 300 participants, including cat lovers, joined the parade.

The event served as an awareness campaign to encourage responsible pet ownership.

"[Our pets deserve] freedom from hunger and thirst, freedom from discomfort, tapos freedom from pain; tapos dapat bigyan din natin ng mga kailangan nila like yung mga vaccination," Dr. Donna Cabanilla-Rosario, Provincial Veterinarian of Ilocos Sur, said.
