A Valentine bouquet sold at a flower store in Nivel Hills, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City drew the attention of buyers on Friday, February 14, 2025.

A bouquet of fresh red roses was sold at an eye-popping price tag of P50,000.

The bouquest has a hundred red roses held in black wrapper.

The bouquet was arranged based on customer's request that specifically ordered the number of roses to be at 100, and its simple but special design. 

The flower shop has also sold bouquets for a lesser price. A P15,000 bouquet came in heart-shaped design with imported roses placed in a chiller to keep the freshness of the flowers.

The store has also offered bouquets for P1,000 with either fresh or plastic flowers, depending on customer's choice.

Futher, the store offered sunflowers for P300 a stalk to customers who cannot afford the P1,000 tag.

Meanwhile, police said that Valentine’s Day is generally peaceful in Cebu City and in Cebu Province. But there is the perpetual warning to be vigilant against love scammers, according to Police Captain Dun Blane Tabares, public information officer of the Cebu City Police Office.
