Dozens of residents patiently waited and cheered as around 60 carabaos from different towns and cities in Nueva Ecija and nearby provinces charged down the field in the 2025 Carabao Race in Barangay Cabu, Cabanatuan City.
The event was part of the farmers’ thanksgiving celebration for a bountiful harvest this year.
Excitement filled the air as farmers proudly showcased their strongest carabaos, hoping to bring home prizes.
The winners in the Class A category took home P25,000, while Class B champions received P15,000.
