A graduate from Tubungan town, Province of Iloilo ranked Number 5 in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Even in her childhood, Gizelle Amour Tabangcora Tagabi aspired to follow in the footsteps of her parents.
When the moment came for her to pick a college course to pursue, she never had second thoughts on taking up Education.
Tagabi pursued Education at the West Visayas State University in Iloilo City and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
In the March 2025 LET-Secondary Level, she ranked Number 5 with a rating of 93 percent.
“Thank you to my parents and my family, I'm so lucky and thankful,” Tagabi said.
She attributed her success to the power of prayers.
“Before mag-start ang test, may 20 minutes kaming nag-wait. Kaya sabi ko parang enough time pa ito na mag-rosary ako. Nanalangin ako upang mawala yung bigat at pressure,” Tagabi said.
Aside from Gizelle, a graduate from Capiz State University-Pontevedra campus and another from the University of Antique-Sibalom campus both ranked Number 6 with a rating of 92.80 percent. They are Rocel Valbarez and Angel Sembrano, respectively.
Moreover, a graduate from the University of the Philippines Visayas ranked Number 2 in the May 2025 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination.
Aaron Paul Infante, a resident of Silay City in the Province of Negros Occidental, said that dedication and discipline are vital in accomplishing his goals.
“Naghahanap po kasi ako ng signs during the Board exams. Yung application number ko when I added the digits, nag-match sa birthday ko so parang good sign yun ha,” Infante shared.
