Mad Ramos, a 19-year-old campus heartthrob from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), is Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s first ever Ultimate Campus Cutie!

Ramos, dubbed the Spike Prince of the South, seized the crown by beating 19 other Campus Cutie contenders– all fellow charming college students– during the competition’s grand finale held at GMA Network on Saturday, June 21.

Placing second was ‘Boy Wonder ng Diliman’ Andrei Fajardo from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.

Mad and Andrei, along with the 18 other finalists, put on an entertaining show during the grand finals, featuring the full range of their talents from singing and dancing to showcasing their onstage poise and charisma.

From 20, the competition was trimmed down to the Top 10, where finalists were put on a thinking pressure cooker through the question and answer portion, serving as the last stage before judges round out the final scores.

Joining Ramos and Fajardo in the Top 10 were Winston Stolk, Kady Costales, Naethan Tan, Ralph Miaco, Mateo Munzones, David Bunagan, Kiko Antonio, and Zed Malicsi.

As the overall winner, Mad will receive a management contract under Sparkle, effectively opening the gates to opportunities that will turn him into the next Kapuso leading man.
