They walk, dance, and even pray like humans. Meet the talented dogs of San Fernando, La Union, whose adorable antics and matching uniforms have made them viral sensations online.

One of the most popular is Hilux, an aspin (asong Pinoy), who walks upright in a full school uniform with a backpack.

With him is Glanza, a Shih Tzu who can count using pebbles.

Then there’s Innova, a Maltese, known for her love of dancing.

All three are pets of the Cabading family, who treat them not just as animals, but as their own children.

“Marami na rin silang naitutulong sa amin, kasi may nagbibigay ng GCash. Ngayon, palapit na ang birthday ni Hilux, meron nang nagbigay para sa celebration ng birthday,” Marivic Cabading, a pet owner, said.

Hilux doesn’t just wear different outfits, he also kneels to “pray,” watches videos on a cellphone, and even hands slippers to his owners.

Glanza, on the other hand, is often seen “using” a cellphone, adding to the list of human-like tricks that leave viewers amazed.

Marivic said the training started when the dogs were still puppies. The secret? Talking to them like they’re people.

“Kinakausap na parang tao. ‘Yun ang ginagawa namin, tapos natututo naman sila na maglakad,” she said.

Hilux is also a “guard dog” in the most literal sense, caught on camera holding a toy gun while watching over the street, ready to “protect” his home.

“Parang tao turing natin sa kanila para sa ganun mapagmahal din sila sa atin,” Marivic added.
