A 33-year-old barangay councilman and a 22-year-old Sangguniang Kabataan chairwoman of the Municipality of Consolacion, Cebu Province were caught being in the same motel room in Lapu-Lapu City by the councilman’s wife.
The wife sought assistance on the night of April 2, 2024 at Police Station 3 - Lapu-Lapu City Police Office after she tracked down the exact location of her husband and the alleged other woman inside a motel in Barangay Pajo.
The police assisted the councilman’s wife and traced the exact room where the two barangay officials checked in.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Christian Torres, Lapu-Lapu City Police Office spokesperson, said that the two barangay officials, however, were not caught in the act having sexual intercourse.
