Anti-narcotics agents have confiscated a big pack containing suspected shabu worth around P6.8 million and arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Saduc, Marawi City.

Aside from the suspected shabu that weighed a kilo, authorities also confiscated a cellphone and a wallet from the suspects. 

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- BARMM identified one of the suspects as alias “Ali”. The two suspects are residents of Barangay Dilimbayan, Lumbayanague, Lanao del Sur.

The operation was backed by the 3rd Scout Ranger Battalion, Intelligence Operative, Marawi City Police Station, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Task Force Marawi, and the 500 Combat Engineering Battalion.

The suspects are facing charges.
