Two members of the LGBTQIA+ community were found dead in separate incidents in Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro.

Police found the dead body of a man lying face down and covered with blood in Barangay Casinglot, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The victim sustained a lone stab wound in his nape, according to the Scene of the Crime Operatives.

Authorities recovered from the crime scene a bottle with bloodstain and a rock possibly used by the suspect in killing the victim.

Prior to the incident, the victim was reportedly seen together with two men.

Investigators have yet to determine the motive but there are already possible witnesses who could help in the investigation.

In Cagayan de Oro, another man who was missing for several days was found dead near a ravine in Sitio Paglaum, Barangay Camaman-an.

Police said the victim was still wearing a helmet when found.

Authorities are still investigating how the victim was killed as his body was already in an advanced state of decomposition.

Investigators believed that the victim may have been robbed as his motorcycle and cellphone could no longer be found in the area.
