A large acacia tree fell on a policeman’s service vehicle parked at the Minor Basilica and Parish of the Immaculate Concepcion and Archdiocesan Shrine of Sto. Niño ng Batangan.

No one was hurt in the incident but the tree also damaged a wall nearby.

Marlon Alulod, a security guard, was on duty when the tree fell.

According to the police, the age of the acacia may be the reason it fell. The tree was reportedly planted between the late 50s and early 60s.

Sharen Ama, Chief of the Batangas City Police Station, said.
