Five of 19 firearms of Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, were surrendered in Davao City on May 2, 2024.

Quiboloy’s camp surrendered the fiearms after the Civil Security Unit of the Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) served the gun license revocation notice on May 2. The notice was received by Quiboloy’s representative, Marlon Acobo, outside a school in Sasa, Davao City.

The five include a colt rifle, two beret pistols, and two metrillos pistols.

The 14 other firearms have reportedly been sold, as proven by documents.

“So pagka-receive niya sa notice, gi-surrender man pud dayon niya ang lima ka firearms... bali composed of isa ka rifle and upat ka pistols plus 14 documents nga nagpatunay na nabaligya na ni Pastor Quiboloy ang 14 other firearms niya,” PRO-11 Spokesperson, Major Catherine Dela Rey, said.

Authorities are still tracking the whereabouts of Quiboloy who is facing various charges, including human trafficking and child abuse.

Police are also coordinating with the Davao International Airport police in case Quiboloy would flee the city.

“Naga-monitor man pud ang Davao International Airport kung mogawas si Pastor Quiboloy o dili,” Dela Rey added.
