Police arrested four persons involved allegedly in the shooting of three persons in Liloan town, north Cebu Province.

Two were injured in the incident, while a 16-year-old girl who sustained two gunshot wounds on her chest expired at the hospital hours later. 

Liloan Municipal Police Station, led by Major Eric Gingoyon, arrested the four suspects on May 10, 2024. 

The suspects were seen in a CCTV footage shooting at youngsters who were hanging out at a convenience store in Barangay Yati at past 4 a.m. on May 9, 2024. 

The suspects are 34-year-old twin brothers who were nabbed in Mandaue City;  alias “Nilo,” 18 years old who was snagged in Danao City; and alias “Makmak,” 21 years old,  who was arrested in Barangay Calero, Liloan.

The suspects who confessed to being members of "Bloods" gang told policemen that they retaliated at the three persons for a stabbing incident that hurt their group mate.

The stabbing ensued during a brawl between "Bloods" and "Crips" gang last May 4, 2024 in Liloan.

The suspects accused the boyfriend of the 16-year-old victim to have perpetrated the stabbing.
