Five of the nine family members riding a tricycle died when a delivery truck collided with their tricycle and caught fire in Barangay Canda Ilaya, Lopez, Quezon on May 15, 2024.
One of the fatalities was an infant.
Based on police investigation, the delivery truck collided with the tricycle before colliding again with a passenger bus in front of it.
Part of the bus also caught fire, but the passengers were evacuated safely.
